Listen, if you are a window treatment or awning business owner wants you to pay attention, we're going to go through three hot ways to really use YouTube to your advantage, some great tips in there. But first, I want to let you know about my book, triple your window treatment and awning leads. If you haven't got a copy of this, I'll tell you how to get a copy at the end today. But very excited about about this information. And listen, if you're not subscribed to our YouTube channel, I highly recommend you do so we're always putting out new content related to this related to growing your business getting more customers, increasing the amount of leads, ranking higher in the search engines, a lot of different things we talked about on there. But these are these tips apply to to all of that. And we'd love to have you as a subscriber on our YouTube channel. Also visit our website wt marketing proz.com if you want to learn more about us and what we can do, but listen today is not about us. We want to talk about three working and proven marketing tips for YouTube. So let's dive right in. Number one, get yourself on camera. Not exciting to most people. But the things that you can do once you're on camera, and you get over that, that shyness, or that just just hesitancy to get on camera. There are some really easy ways to do this. But video tends to grow trust, right people that see you on video are going to trust you more, it builds trust for your business. And there's nothing more powerful than somebody in a position of authority, doing a video about their about their business about their website. Perfect example might be a walkthrough of a project that you've finished, go through all the different pieces and all you do literally get on your phone, you don't need a special camera, you don't need a gimbal and all these things. I mean, just pick up the phone and start talking, hit record, start talking do a walkthrough of maybe one of your projects. Now couple things make sure that you say you introduce yourself who you are, obviously the name of your business, and then the service area that you cover. Very important to because Google's going to pick up on a lot of these these keywords that you're using. So definitely worth using those those keywords at the beginning. And then of course explain what you're doing walk through the project. Here's what we did with these windows, here's what we did with this awning. The deck was you know, getting beat down in the sun in the summertime and we install these solar shades or this retractable awning, whatever it happens to be, but show the finished project. Obviously, what you do, and then make sure that you end it with something along the lines of if you would like us to do something similar. Here's our phone number, visit us on our website. Those kind of project walkthroughs are fantastic. People love to see finished projects of what they potentially could have for their own home. So definitely get get on, get on the videos, start shooting videos. And then you can share those videos across multiple social media networks, not just YouTube. But Facebook, LinkedIn, there's a lot of different places you can upload these things to get even more exposure for your brand. Another great idea is to send videos like this to potential clients. Hey, we just installed this retractable was thinking about you thought you'd be interested in this shoot, you know this short video about this project we just completed. So definitely a couple really cool things you can do with that. And then of course, put the video on your website as a short blog. So when somebody does visit your website, again, they're getting that trust factor, they're getting hit with the fact that your video is on there and you're somebody in authority at this business, it really just helps out. So definitely, you know, get yourself on camera. Number two, consider going live on YouTube. So once you're past the the idea of just recording videos, uploading them, stuff like that, go live on Facebook, make sure that you use landscape mode. So when you shoot your video, make sure you're talking, you know to it in this particular way. And then your title and your description of your video needs to be keyword research, keyword rich, so make sure that whatever it is you're talking about, you know it has the right keywords in there. It has retractable awnings in Memphis or wherever you're at. Right And here are some different things that we did mention those different things and the search engines will pick up on those keywords for sure. Another great idea mentioned the city, or even mentioned the subdivision or the municipality that you're in. So don't always just mention the big city of Memphis. But mentioned as the little municipality or the subdivision that you're in, right, you don't want to name the street, or the or the address of where this install was taking place. You know, that might get into some privacy issues. But if you're just mentioning the area that you're in, all of that is going to help your overall rankings just because of the keywords that you're using. Make sure that you put a link to your website in the description. When you're when you're going live on these obviously shared all your social media, again, put a link in your description to your Google My Business listing, make sure you do that so that people can check out your GMB and they can look at your reviews, things of that sort. And then do it once a week if you could do a Facebook Live once a week at some install or something, or even a behind the scenes inside, you know where you manufacture things or where you put things together. Behind the scenes. People love those right? Oh, this is a real company doing real stuff. It's not just some Corporation, people love that stuff. YouTube also has something now, when I grab my phone, they have something now, down at the bottom of the screen, I don't know if you can see this or not. But at the bottom, there's a plus sign right in the middle. And if you click the plus sign, now you can do a create a short, and this is a short 15 second or so video, that's just around a you know, we're getting ready to go out to the job and stop and grab some coffee or something like that. It just makes your business seem a little bit more real to people. And those, of course, are being uploaded to YouTube as well. So consider going live on youtube, it's really going to help your brand overall. And number three, tip number three, make sure that you are using your brand account and not your personal YouTube account. So definitely important to make sure that you are uploading everything as your brand. If you're watching this video, we're broadcasting this on window treatment marketing pros website on their YouTube channel, not on my personal channel. So very important that you do that, that you optimize that channel with a great cover photo that explains who you are what you do, here's your logo, maybe a picture of you in your van or whatever it happens to be right. Don't use your own customer or don't use your own account, make sure that you're using a business related account. And that's it. I hope those three tips can help you grow your business and really increase the amount of leads that you're getting. Lastly, I mentioned my book, triple your window treatment and awning leads.
